Thank you for your really ” open” communication. I really like the color you chose and the rationale behind it.
BTW, I have a blanket that carries the ” scent” of someone I loved so dearly. When I can muster the strength, I do smell it and take in my memories and cry my eyes out. Its sad but cathartic in a,way too. We each travel this road in our own way, and surely understand and respect each others needs.
Actually… it’s just a matter of time until I’m curling up in her clothes! A friend… who happens to quilt… said she would make one using the articles of my choosing. I haven’t done it yet… but thought that that would be pretty darn nice! And yes… there’s just too many of us to do it the same way… waaaay too many variables!
